Here is the recipe inratable to succeed the high sponge cake ( 9 cm) in Thermomix, a high sponge cake, soft and light, easy and simple to make to achieve cakes with several layers.
Ingredients:
5 eggs 150 g sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4 tablespoons water 4 tablespoons oil 60 g cornstarch 150 g flour 1 packet baking powder 1 pinch salt
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Insert the whisk into the bowl then put the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, pinch of salt and water then set 12 minutes on speed 3.5.
After 8 minutes add the oil and let it turn 20 seconds then add the cornstarch and yeast.
After 10 minutes add the flour and let it turn.
At the buzzer pour the preparation into a buttered and floured cake tin (20 cm * 9 cm) then put it in the oven for 45 minutes.
Let it rest for 10 minutes then remove from the tin, then place it for 6 hours in the fridge before using it.
