Herring with oil and onions

Playing herring in oil with mustard and bay leaf.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Wash the herring, remove the milt, cut off the heads and tails and soak in water
2. After a few hours, take them out of the water, then squeeze them, peel them, cut them open, bone them and brush each half with mustard, roll them into rolls and put them in a jar one by one
3. Pour oil over the herring so that they are submerged, put bay leaves on top

Recommendation:
When serving, stick a toothpick into each and serve garnished with small pickles, carrots pickled in vinegar and onion rings.
