Healthy molasses cookie recipe using protein powder and less sugar?

I’m always on the lookout for healthier cookie recipes that don’t sacrifice taste. So when I came across this healthy molasses cookie recipe that uses protein powder and less sugar, I knew I had to try it!

These cookies are made with whole wheat flour, almond meal, and protein powder, so they’re packed with nutritious ingredients. And because they’re sweetened with molasses and a small amount of sugar, they have a deep, rich flavor that’s perfect for the holiday season.

Here’s what you’ll need to make these healthy molasses cookies:

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup almond meal
1/2 cup protein powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, almond meal, protein powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg.
In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the molasses and egg until well combined.
Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until everything is evenly mixed.
Scoop the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten the cookies slightly.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown and set.

These cookies are great on their own, or you can dress them up with some icing or decorations
