Ham fritters
Empanada de jambon are actually taller slices of ham covered with a cherry lid, coated in egg yolks and fried until golden brown. Served as an appetizer or a light dinner with a vegetable salad.

Procedure:
1. Place the ham between two slices of veal, sprinkled on both sides with sherry
2. Dip the sandwich in beaten, salted egg yolks and fry immediately in well heated butter until golden brown.
