200 g halloumi cheese 1 tbsp ghee butter 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp romaine cumin 1 tsp ground smoked paprika 1 tsp taco seasoning 1 pk ripe avocado 1/2 pk lime 4 pk cherry tomatoes 1 pk red onion 1 bunch fresh cilantro 6 pk smaller taco tortilla 2 pk jalapeño peppers 4 tbsp taco salsa ground black pepper salt

A meatless party snack, a colorful fiesta of flavors and colors.

Cut the cheese into as small pieces as possible and fry it in a hot pan with melted butter. Add a pinch of salt, black pepper, oregano, romaine, smoked paprika and taco seasoning. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes, or until the halloumi is golden brown.

In the meantime, make a quick guacamole. Pop the avocado and pour the lime juice over it. Add the chopped tomatoes, onion and cilantro. Mix everything thoroughly and season with salt if necessary.

Heat the tortillas in a hot pan, about 10 seconds on each side, and build your taco. Start with the halloumi mixture, then layer the guacamole, sliced jalapenos and top everything with the juicy Mexican salsa.
