It is a real art to grill sausages well, although it seems simple. This recipe is all about how to grill them so they are tasty and not burnt.
1. First, take the sausages you want to grill out of the fridge beforehand and let them rest so they get room temperature and are not cold. If we are going to grill them in an aluminium tray, we cut them, if directly on the grill, we don’t cut them, so that we don’t get the best juices out of them. 2. First, rub them with a simple marinade (just oil and pepper or garlic) to caramelize the surface and give them a nice color. Put them on the grill, but not over a high heat, as they will immediately burn on the surface and remain raw inside. Put them on a stronger fire at the end and grill them quickly on the outside. 3. And the sausages are ready. Serve them with, for example, Hellmans gourmet mustard and bread. You can prepare the vegetable side dish according to your own imagination. Sauerkraut is also suitable.
