Greek Peasant Salad

Salad of tomatoes, cucumber, green leaf lettuce, onion, chives, olives and cheese, served topped with seasoned dressing.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Cut the washed tomatoes into eighths, cut the washed cucumber into thin slices, divide the lettuce by leaves, wash and drain
2. Chop the peeled onion and chives finely and grate the cheese coarsely
3. Line a shallow bowl with lettuce leaves, arrange the tomatoes, cucumber, cheese and olives on top, sprinkle with the onion pieces and chopped chives
4. Whisk the vinegar, oil, salt, ground pepper and oregano well and pour this dressing over the salad.
Recommendation:
Serve with dark wholemeal bread, baguette or other white bread.
