Recipe from Greece for grilled pieces of lamb served on skewers.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Clean the lamb thoroughly, wash, dry and cut into equal bite-sized cubes
2. Cut the peeled onion into small cubes and chop the oregano finely
3. Place the meat and onions in a large bowl, pour in the olive oil and sherry, add the chopped oregano, salt and pepper 4. Mix everything thoroughly and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, but preferably until the next day
5. Place the rested lamb pieces on skewers (previously soaked in cold water) or metal skewers and grill on a hot grill for about 15 minutes, turning the skewers regularly during grilling.
Recommendation:
Serve with tzatziki, vegetable salad and rice.
