Gratinated asparagus with Gran Moravia cheese

A warm appetizer or also a light dinner. Recipe for using asparagus according to the popular cheesemaker La Formaggeria Gran Moravia.

Ingredients:

1 kg of green asparagus 50 g fresh butter from La Formaggeria Gran Moravia 50 g shredded Gran Moravia cheese breadcrumbs salt

Procedure:

  • Clean the asparagus, tie it into several bunches and boil in salted water for about 10 minutes. Place the bundles in the pot so that the tips are above the water. Then let cool.
  • Distribute the cooled asparagus in a buttered baking dish, add the remaining pre-melted butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs and cheese.
  • Salt and bake in the oven at 200 °C for about 10 minutes. Serve hot!
