Grandma’s Soup

Soup of pork meat and bones, root Vegetable Recipes and spices, served with a gnocchi insert.

Ingredients:

1 kg of pork bones 200 g of fresh mushrooms or 20 g of dried mushrooms 1 piece piece of celery 1 pc of carrots 1 pc bean leaves smooth flour majorana jalovec butter fat

water pepper salt For gnocchi: 100 g smooth flour 1/2 dl water salt mildly salted water to cook gnocchi

Procedure:

1. 1. When the meat is soft, skim off the broth, set aside, peel the meat from the bones and cut into pieces
3. In a pot, heat the lard, dust with flour and prepare the roux, then pour the broth, stir, add grated carrots, celery, pieces of meat and pre-soaked mushrooms
4. Season with marjoram and leave to cook over low heat
5. Prepare the gnocchi; salt the plain flour, add water and make a thicker dough, which we strain through a gnocchi colander into lightly salted boiling water, cook for about 5 minutes, then drain the gnocchi and rinse with water
6. Put the cooked gnocchi into plates, pour the finished soup over them and serve.
