These cookies are a tradition in our house. I remember making them with my grandmother as a child. They were made with plum doctor , home cooked. When we baked them, I was covered in flour, but also jam. I often think of it now when I bake linzer before Christmas.
1.
From the ingredients, make the dough. Refrigerate it.
2.
Then roll out the dough to a thickness of about 5mm and cut out rounds with a rolling pin and put them on a baking sheet to bake.
3.
When all the rounds are baked, once cooled, bind them together with plum jam. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
4.
Place them in the tin. I’m looking forward to Christmas baking.
