Fried peas

Dough drizzled in heated oil, fried pea-sized balls suitable for use as an insert in soups.

Ingredients:

130 g of coarse flour 1,5 dl of milk 1 pc egg pinch of salt

Procedure:

1. Make a batter of coarse flour, milk, egg and a pinch of salt, slightly thicker than pancake batter
2. In a suitable container heat a large amount of oil
3. Press the batter through a coarse grater so that it just drips directly into the hot oil, stir the “peas” formed from the pieces of batter occasionally and fry gradually until golden
4. Put the prepared insert into the soups only at the moment of serving.
