Fried Mushroom Cones

Sprinkled mushrooms mixed with semolina, worked into the shape of doughnuts coated in flour, salted eggs and breadcrumbs, fried until golden brown. Recipe from Krkonoše cuisine.

Procedure:
1. Fry the onion with the crushed garlic in lard
2. Add the mushrooms, sauté them, season with salt, cumin and thyme, simmer until all the water evaporates
3. Prepare a light roux from butter and flour, dilute it with broth and milk, cook a thick porridge and mix it with the cooled mushrooms
4. Form small doughnuts from the cooled mixture and coat them in smooth flour, salted eggs and breadcrumbs

Recommendation:
Serve the mushroom doughnuts prepared in this way, for example, with mashed potatoes.
