Fried Christmas Sandwiches

Platkes of Christmas cakes smeared with flavoured curd and jam, glued together, dipped in eggs whisked in cream, fried until golden brown.

Ingredients:

8 pcs of chanterelles 3 pcs eggnog 120 g of marmalade (currant, cherry or raspberry) 125 ml whipping cream 2 tbsp butter 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar for sprinkling For flavored cottage cheese: 200 g of semi-skimmed cottage cheese 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tbspmilk 1 piece bag of vanilla sugar 1/2 pcs table of milk chocolate

Procedure:

1. Mix the semi-skimmed cottage cheese with vanilla sugar, milk, chopped chocolate and ground cinnamon
2. Spread half of the slices with the flavored curd, the other half with the jam and then fold them together in different pairs
3. Mix the beaten eggs with the cream and dip all the sandwiches in the resulting mixture so that they soak it up properly
4. Then fry the sandwiches in a pan in melted butter for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown, dust with icing sugar and serve immediately.
