There are never enough quick dessert recipes. This mascarpone sundae has a touch of Italian cuisine. It combines fresh flavours perfectly and is ideal for brunch, but also as a light treat at a party.
1.
You can make this dessert on a baking sheet, or cut it straight into cups like this to make it easier to serve. In this case, take the biscuits and break them into smaller pieces. Place them in the bottom of the jars. If you were making it in a baking dish, you could leave them whole
2.
Juice both oranges. Add a little of any alcohol you like to the juice and pour the finished mixture over the biscuits.
3.
Place the mascarpone, sugar, milk and juice of one lemon in a larger bowl. Start mixing on low speed as this will make it easier for the ingredients to come together. If you process the cream for a longer time, it may remain more liquidy. Nothing is lost in this case either. When you put the dessert in the refrigerator to chill, it will firm up.
4.
Start portioning the cream into the jars. If you were making the dessert in a baking dish, just spread it over the cupcakes soaked in orange juice.
5.
Decorate the top of each cup or tin with raspberries. Scatter the chocolate shavings between them. Then chill in the fridge for at least an hour, as it tastes better afterwards.
