The sweet breakfast of French kings. Today we can enjoy it too. All it takes is a little time and good ingredients, including, preferably, fresh, seasonal fruit.
Ingredients:
Rule for 4 servings:
8-12 pcs
slices of aged toasted bread
4 pcs
Eggs
250 ml
milk
1 sachet
sugar
1 teaspoon
powdered sugar
fatted butter
pinch of salt
To finish and serve:
small fresh (sterilized) fruit
sweet dessert cream sauce
jam or marmalade
maple syrup
white yogurt
Procedure:
Whisk the milk with the eggs, icing sugar and a pinch of salt
Dip the toasted bread slices in the milk, fry on both sides in the clarified butter
Finally coat the fried toast in cinnamon sugar, place on plates

Decorate the hot toasts with yoghurt, jam or marmalade and small fruits, or top them with some sweet warm dessert sauce, or serve the toasts just as they are and put the ingredients in bowls in the middle of the table, so that each diner can garnish their toast with what they like.
Recommendation:
Instead of toast, you can use thicker slices of older breadcrumbs or Christmas cake!
