Fluffy Bugnes in Thermomix
Here is the recipe for fluffy bugnes in Thermomix, delicious fluffy doughnuts very easy and simple to make and serve on Shrove Tuesday.
Ingredients:
300 g flour 30 g powdered sugar 1 packet vanilla sugar 1/2 packet baking powder 1 pinch salt 1 egg 5 g rum 1 teaspoon orange blossom 100 g milk 75 g melted butter
Preparation:
Put the flour, sugar, salt, yeast, egg, orange blossom and rum, milk and softened butter in the bowl and then set 2 minutes on epi function.
The dough must be elastic: if it is too soft add a little flour and if it is too hard add a little milk.
Form a ball of dough then let rest 30 minutes.
Then roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm then cut strips of 10 cm by 4 cm then make an incision on 5 cm in the center.
Heat the oil in a large saucepan or in a deep fryer then plunge the bugnes in it. Let them cook for a few minutes on each side until they are lightly browned.
Place them on a paper towel then let them cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
