When it comes to fried rice, the options are endless. You can pretty much add any veggies you have on hand and turn it into a delicious dish. This recipe from the Bamboo Club is a great starting point if you’re not sure what to put in your fried rice.
The Ingredients:
1/2 cup uncooked brown rice
1/2 cup chopped vegetables (you can use whatever you have on hand, but we recommend carrots, peas, and corn)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions:
Cook the rice according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add the vegetables and cook for 5 minutes, or until tender.
Add the cooked rice and soy sauce and stir to combine.
Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until heated through.
This dish is so versatile and can be served with just about anything. We love it with some grilled chicken or shrimp. You could also add some scrambled eggs to make it a complete meal
