Fish Meatballs with Pita Bread

Baked fish meatballs nestled in pita bread along with cucumber, bell pepper, tomatoes and parsley.

Ingredients:

200 ml of milk 500 gfilé 1 tbsp breadcrumbs 4 pcs of pita bread 2 pcs of tomatoes 2 pcs eggplant 1 pcs yellow peppers 1 pc small salad cucumbers 1 pc mushrooms a handful of fresh chopped parsley ground pepper water oil salt

Procedure:

1. Boil the fish fillets for about 6-8 minutes in lightly salted water, then crumble the cooked meat and remove the bones or mince them
2. Pour the hot milk over the broken bun, let it soak for a while and then squeeze it out, then mix the fish meat with the bun, add some finely chopped parsley, eggs, salt, pepper, add 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs if necessary, mix and make 4 larger meatballs from the mixture
3. Spread the meatballs in a baking dish, lightly grease with oil, place in a preheated oven at 180 °C and bake for 15-20 minutes
4. Meanwhile, cut the washed salad cucumber into slices, the cleaned pepper into noodles and the washed tomatoes into smaller pieces
5. Place the finished meatballs in the pita bread, add the pepper noodles, the salad cucumber slices and the tomato pieces mixed with the remaining parsley.
