This is the first vegan cheesecake recipe I have ever tried, and I have to say, it was a success! The ingredients are simple and theInstructions are easy to follow. This cheesecake can be used as a dessert or an appetizer, and it is sure to impress your guests.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
1 block extra firm tofu
1/2 cup non-dairy milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup agave nectar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup vegan cream cheese
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup melted vegan butter
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a food processor, combine tofu, milk, lemon juice, agave nectar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
Add vegan cream cheese and blend until combined.
In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted vegan butter until combined.
Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8-inch cake pan.
Pour the tofu mixture over the crust, and spread evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool completely before serving.
