Fettucine Alfredo

Fettucine is a popular Italian pasta, wide noodles translated as “ribbons”. Try them in this great, yet simple recipe.

Ingredients:

500 g of fettucine noodles 100 g of grated parmesan 200 ml sweet cream fresh parsley mace olive oil

salt

Procedure:

1. Cook the noodles in salted water with a tablespoon of olive oil, drain the cooked noodles and let them drain
2. Melt butter in a saucepan, add cream and cook over low heat to a thick mixture
3. Transfer the noodles to a wider saucepan, pour in the cream, add the grated Parmesan, season with a pinch of mace, season with salt and pepper, stir thoroughly to mix the noodles with the cream and cheese
4. The noodles can be served immediately or baked in the oven for 5 minutes
5. Garnish the plate with chopped fresh parsley.
