Festive homemade hen soup with homemade noodles

1/2 pcs domestic casserole 4 liters water 3 pcs medium fresh carrots 2 pcs parsley celery, small kohlrabi, small onion salt, black pepper whole, allspice whole

When home made hen soup is cooked in our house it is always a feast. A good homemade hen broth is said to be a cure for everything.

Put 1/2 of a domestic hen in a pot and pour 4 – 5l of water over it. Add onions, fresh carrots, parsley, celery, kohlrabi, salt as needed, black pepper, allspice and a little celery to the water (not too much so the soup is not very flavorful).

If we have, we can put the green sprig. We will make sure that the soup doesn’t start boiling too much, because the soup would get mushy, the soup just needs to bubble. All this is cooked for 3 to 4 hours. When the water comes to the boil, add boiling water to make about 3 litres of soup. When we want the broth to be good, the soup must be boiled for that long.
