Festive cacarka

An old Czech white soup made of sauerkraut, cream, sausage and other ingredients.

Ingredients:

200 g of sauerkraut 200 g klobasa (Slovakian) 60 g English bacon 60 g smooth flour 1,5 l water 1/4 l sour cream 1/8 l cabbage slaw 1 handful of dried mushrooms sugar cube bob list masox pepper salt

Procedure:

1. Put the chopped bacon in a pot to cook, then dust it with flour and mix a golden roux
2. Pour the water over the soup, add the chopped cabbage and the suet, all the spices, the washed and sautéed mushrooms, a little masox and salt
3. Cook the soup for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
4. At this stage, add the sliced sausage to the soup, let it warm up for a while
5. Finally, prepare caramel from sugar cube and half a teaspoon of water in a tin cup, pour it into the soup and stir it.
