Fasole verde (Creamed Beans)

Although Romanians are a very temperamental people, you don’t have to worry about this dish being too spicy. And thanks to the preparation with the multifunctional pressure cooker of the Czech brand Salente Cuco, you can prepare it conveniently and in a relatively short time.

Ingredients:

Ingredients for 4 servings: 800 g of green beans 3 pcs garlic cloves 1 pcs

1 pc large onion 1/2 bunch petrels 600 ml water 4 tbsp olive oil 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper 1.5 tsp salt For the cream sauce: 600 g cream 20% 2 tbsp flour 2 tablespoons water 1/4 tsp pepper

Procedure:

Method of preparation:

  • Heat 4 tbsp olive oil, add finely chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Then add the garlic, grated carrots and peppers. At this point, use the Saute function with the lid open.
  • Add the spices to the sautéed Vegetable Recipes. Stir quickly so as not to burn the ground pepper. After a few seconds, add a cup of water and add the green beans. Stir a little and add the rest of the water.
  • Close and seal the lid according to the instructions. Program the cooker to the Meat/Stew function for 18-20 minutes.
  • Sauce:

  • Place the flour and water in a bowl and mix well.
  • Add the cream and stir until the ingredients are combined. Add the pepper.
  • Stirring:

  • After 18-20 minutes, release the pressure in the pot as directed.
  • Stirring constantly, add about 2-3 ladlefuls of hot sauce from the pot to the cream base – slowly so the cream doesn’t curdle.
  • Then pour the cream base over the beans and let cook for 5 minutes on the Saute function with the lid open.
  • Finally, add the finely chopped parsley.
