Extra simple cauliflower-potato soup

400 g frozen cauliflower 2 pcs large potato 2 dl cooking cream pcs salt pcs cumin

We like thick rich soups at home. We often have them with a piece of sourdough bread for dinner.

Soup is on the table in half an hour 🙂 Pour hot water from the kettle over the frozen cauliflower (saves time). In the meantime, chop the potatoes finely.

Salt, add a little cumin. I salt less because of the kids, I put 1tbsp, my husband and I will add salt on the plate if we need to. Cook for about 20 minutes from boiling point until both potatoes and cauliflower are tender

Mix with an immersion blender.

Add cream. If you find the soup too thick, use 500ml milk instead of the cream. Alternatively, add hot water to taste.
