A good crop of tomatoes in the garden and a little patience will be a delicacy for the winter. An easy preparation with excellent results.

Prepare washed ingredients.

Slice the tomatoes, apples, onions into small pieces and put them in a larger bowl, see photo below. Sprinkle ground cinnamon about1 tsp, add 5-8 cloves, salt, sugar, chili pepper or dried spices, chopped garlic small.

Put everything to boil for 1 hour take out the cloves. Blend with a stick blender and strain through a sieve.

Put the strained mixture to boil over a low heat again for 1 hour in an uncovered saucepan to evaporate the juices and thicken the ketchup. Season as desired. Wash the jars and fill with ketchup. Sterilise for 10 minutes. Enjoy.
