The English breakfast is a dish known in hotel breakfast rooms around the world, with a little variation. It’s a breakfast that will keep you going long into the evening.
Ingredients for four
8 slices of bacon 4 eggs 1 teaspoon of beans in tomato sauce 4 delicatessen spices; 2 large tomatoes 4 slices of toast with butter or marmalade 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
Tip: For a more authentic English breakfast, you can buy a “black pudding” or blood pudding that’s baked in a pan. It can be substituted with scones.
Compose the beans in a small saucepan and let them simmer gently, stirring.
You’ll need two frying pans. Place a splash of oil in each.
Place the mushrooms in the other pan. Cut the tomatoes in half at the stem and fry them on the cutting surface with a brisk pan.
In the other pan, fry the bacon and eggs.
Fold the bread and place the whole thing on the plate at the same time, so that the food doesn’t get too hot.
At the same time, place the bread in the oven and serve.
