Eggs in toast

Dough bread with a cut-out centre in the middle, toasted in a frying pan together with a beaten egg.

Ingredients:

For 4 toasts: 4 pieces of toasted bread 4 pcs eggs ground red pepper herbs for garnish oil salt

Procedure:

  • Cut circles in the middle of the toast.
  • Fry the toasts on one side in a small amount of oil in a pan, then turn them over, crack one egg into the holes in the middle of the toasts and fry until the eggs are set (if you cover the pan with a lid, the eggs will be done sooner).
  • Salt the eggs, sprinkle with ground red pepper and garnish the toasted plates with sprigs of herbs.
  • Recommendation:

    As a base for the eggs, you can use a slice of ham.
