On the Polish Easter table you can’t miss Easter mazurka. It is an Easter dessert in the shape of a thicker pancake decorated with chocolate icing, dried or candied fruit, nuts, almonds … usually folded into Easter motifs. The filling can be nutty, chocolate, caramel or made of ground dried fruit.
Ingredients:
For the dough:

of plain flour

of butter
25 g
of icing sugar

sour cream

For filling:
100 g
of cream cheese
80 g
ground hazelnuts
70 g
butter
3 tbsp
caramelized sweetened condensed milk
Other:
shelled almonds
chocolate
sugar icing and other confectionery decorations
Procedure:
Mix the solid ingredients together, then add the liquid ingredients, work into a dough
Roll out the dough on a floured work surface, cut out a rectangle about 20×30 cm

Pierce the dough in several places with a fork, spread the beans on the dough so that it does not puff up during baking and bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C until nicely browned, let the pancake cool
Heat the butter and cheese in a warm bath
Make the filling; in a food processor, mix the softened butter with the cheese, ground nuts and caramel
Spread the filling over the baked, cooled pancake

Decorate as you like, forming different shapes for example with coloured sugar coating, nuts, almonds ….
