Dukat buns from grandma

ingredients

400 g plain flour (ideally T650) Sourdough starter (0.10 l milk, 20 g yeast, 1 tbsp sugar.) 1/4 liter lukewarm milk 40 g powdered sugar 1 pk egg yolk 50 g melted butter salt 1 KL lemon juice

Pudding Cream

1 liter whole milk 4 tbsp granulated sugar / brown sugar 2 pk Golden Cob 40 g Dr.Oetker 1 pk Vanilla sugar or a few drops of bourbon vanilla essence Dr. Oetker

Grandma’s buns we always looked forward to

From the ingredients make the dough. Leave to rise. Using a spoon dipped in melted butter, scoop out the dough and shape the buns. Place them side by side on a greased baking sheet.

In a saucepan, cook the custard cream.

Place the baked buns on a plate and pour the custard cream over them.
