step
It’s plum season, so you need to bake a delicious plum cake:))
1.
Pesto: in a bowl beat eggs with powdered sugar, progressively add acidophilus milk, oil, sifted flour mixed with baking powder and baby semolina.
2.
Spread the dough on a baking tray with higher sides, lined with baking paper. Size 30×40 cm. Place the halves of the pitted plums on the surface, skin side down, cut into quarters when they are larger, sprinkle with the ground poppy seeds and sprinkle with the sprinkles. Use plums as desired, even larger quantities. I used plums from my garden.
3.
Sprinkles: melt the butter, add the sugar, flour, semolina and make the sprinkles.
4.
Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes or as required. The figures are approximate. The dough must be separated from the baking sheet. After baking, sprinkle with icing sugar and vanilla sugar. Leave to cool and serve. The cake tastes like sourdough but is much shorter to prepare. Try it, it is really delicious! Enjoy!
