Delicious garlic breadcrumbs

ingredients

800 g semi-coarse flour 1/2 litre lukewarm milk 1 dl oil 40 g fresh yeast 2 tbsp sugar 2 tsp salt

Garlic paste

250 g Hera (butter) 2 pcs egg yolk 5 cloves garlic

From the above ingredients for the dough, prepare the yeast dough in the classic way. If you have helpers – a robot or a baker – you have an easier job. Let the dough rise after making.

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Only the egg yolks go into the filling. Press the garlic nicely. Those 5-6 medium cloves are just right. Beat with a whisk, just enough to combine the ingredients.

Place the dough on a floured board and divide into three parts. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/2 cm. Spread about a third of the filling over the dough, making sure the filling is spread evenly.

Roll the dough into a roll, gently pat the top – this is good to stop the pasties from rolling sideways in the oven. Spread a little filling on the top and sprinkle with sesame seeds, or whatever you like – cheese, poppy seeds, etc.

Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake until pink. During baking, the zig-zags will let out quite a bit of juice, but no worries – they’ll drink it all back up nicely. They also need to be left on the baking tray for 5 minutes after removing them.
