Dalmatian Chufti Bosnian style

Roasted balls of minced veal and beef, onions, herbs and spices, simmered in tomato sauce until tender. Recipe from the show “VIP Prostřeno” by Mrs. Anife Vyskočilová.

Ingredients:

500 g ground veal and beef (1:1) 1 handful of green parsley finely chopped 1 pc 1 pc eggplant 1 tbsp breadcrumbs

ground cinnamon Roman cumin pepper salt For the sauce: 1 tablespoon of anti-press 1 large peeled tomato 1 pk garlic clove 1 pk large onion 1 pc bean leaf 1 pc large carrots sugar to taste salt

Procedure:

  • First, prepare the meat; mix the minced meat with finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley and spices, let it rest in the refrigerator

  • From the minced meat, make balls, roll them in flour and fry them in hot oil in a pan until golden brown
  • Add the cooked chufti to the pot with the sauce and simmer until the sauce thickens.
