Crock Pot recipe for turkey wing with drumstick attached

This recipe is for a whole turkey wing with the drumstick attached, cooked in a crock pot. It’s a great recipe if you want to cook a turkey without having to deal with a whole bird. This recipe is also perfect for those who don’t want to eat dark meat, since the turkey wing is all white meat.

You’ll need:

1 whole turkey wing with drumstick attached
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 carrots, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
1/2 tsp. dried sage
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions:

In a large crock pot, combine the onion, garlic, carrots, celery, thyme, rosemary, sage and black pepper.
Rub the turkey wing with olive oil and place it on top of the vegetables in the crock pot.

Pour the chicken broth over the turkey wing.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the turkey wing is cooked through.

When the turkey wing is cooked through, remove it from the crock pot and let it rest for a few minutes before carving.

This recipe is great for a weekday meal or for entertaining. Serve the carved turkey wing with mashed potatoes and a green vegetable for a complete meal
