Sourdough is bitter to the taste and may not be to everyone’s taste. In the soup, the recipe can be found here, everyone ate it at our house, but only I ate it toasted with thyme and garlic on sourdough bread . If you try both recipes, try to write us how you liked them.
1.
Slice the squash into slices, about 3 -5mm thin.
2.
Heat a frying pan and add the oil, turn the sliced garlic whole through the cut to the pan , and a bunch of satureja. Lightly fry together for a minute on each side (or less).
3.
Remove, julienne the zucchini (5mm strips) and toss with the queso, sliced tomatoes.
4.
And when the quacca has cooled slightly stir in the lettuce leaves. Do not stir them into the hot kvaka, they will wilt.
5.
You can also put the lettuce leaves on a second plate as a salad and place the quaka with the other Vegetable Recipes on a slice of bread as a bruschetta. I salted only at the end, with smoked chip salt from Iceland.
