Crab sticks with melted cheese and rice

Yummy recipe from Nicole: Our lunch today and this unusual combination. It was an experiment that worked.

Start cooking the rice first, according to the instructions on the package, or from experience.

Prepare a frying pan and put four slices of fresh butter or oil in it. I recommend fresh butter, the taste of the sticks is delicious. Unwrap the crab sticks from the transparent foil and place them on the pan, which we only have on the worktop for now.

Thinly slice half the zucchini, add to the pan. Add the capers as well. Finely chop one chilli pepper and add.

Season it all with soy sauce, salt, lemongrass and barbecue seasoning. Cut the lemon into as many slices as there will be servings. Squeeze the juice from the lemon over the top of the pan.

Mix everything together and you can roast it on the stove. Stir occasionally. A few minutes before turning it off, add half of the melted cheese in the casing. Stir.

Serve this on a plate with arugula or mixed salad, on top of which place the crab sticks along with capers and zucchini, garnish with sesame seeds, lemon and chilli. Garnish the rice with soy sauce and parsley.
