Country Croque-Monsieur with Comté cheese
Here is the recipe for croque-Monsieur country with comté, a delicious croque-monsieur in traditional and generous version, easy to make and ideal for a quick meal, accompanied by a small green salad or raw Vegetable Recipes.
Ingredients for 4 people:
8 slices of country bread ( 1 slice=25 g) 4 slices of white ham 90 g of comté cheese in strips 20 g of cornstarch 220 g of milk salt, pepper
Preparation :
Prepare the béchamel, in a saucepan heat a little milk then dilute the cornstarch. Add the rest of the milk then let it cook for 6 minutes while stirring.
Then spread 4 slices of bread with the prepared béchamel then place on each bread 1 slice of ham and strips of comté.
Close with a slice of bread on top then spread the remaining béchamel on top.
Arrange the croques on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper then bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 200°.
