Cottage cheese balls with strawberries

500 g soft cottage cheese 1 pk egg 250 g semi-coarse flour 1 tbsp oil to taste fresh strawberries to taste for sprinkling butter, sugar, breadcrumbs, poppy seeds, cocoa, nuts
procedure
1. Mix the cottage cheese with the egg, stir in the oil and flour. Make a smooth but slightly sticky dough. Make it into a cylinder and cut it into approximately 1 cm rounds. 2. Press the rounds with your fingers, wrap the strawberries in them and shape into balls. Drop them into a saucepan of boiling water with a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan. 3. The balls are almost ready when they float to the surface. Let them cook there for about 3 minutes more. Remove them with a slotted spoon straight onto plates. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar, poppy seeds, ground nuts or cocoa.
