Cooked pork tongues on ginger

Recipe from China for cooked tongues with ginger and other ingredients, served sliced and topped with a spicy sauce. Recipe from the show VIP Prostřeno by Saskia Buresova.

Procedure:
1. Slice a large onion into thin slices, put it in a wide pot, add 3 pieces of whole ginger, 5 tablespoons of real soy sauce, cover with water, bring to a boil, and then put the pork tongues in that base
2. When the tongues are soft, put them in cold water for a while, then peel off the skin, cut them into thin slices and put them in a bowl
4. Separately, whisk a teaspoon of starch flour in a small amount of cold water and add it to the sauce, cover with a little oil and let it boil, then strain the sauce over the tongues
5. Garnish the dish with chopped leeks and red cabbage, refrigerate and leave to cool.
Recommendation:
A suitable side dish is, for example, slices of roasted veal.
