Coffee dessert – slices recipe
Ingredients
Portions: n/a Dough: 5 eggs 130 g semolina sugar 130 g plain flour 0.50 packet of baking powder 2 tablespoons oil 2 tablespoons of warm water 20 g of cocoa baking paper Cream. Vanilla pudding 1 tbsp ground coffee 200 g softened butter 150 g icing sugar brown rum ground nuts
Recipe preparation steps
1 Cream. Whisk the malt and sugar until frothy and stir in the cooled custard several times. 2 Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until frothy, then add the water, oil, cocoa, flour and baking powder. Finally, lightly fold in the stiff egg white mixture and spread the batter evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven at medium temperature and bake for about 12 minutes, checking with a skewer. Sprinkle the baked sheet with icing sugar (it won’t stick to the towel), turn it over on the towel, carefully remove the paper, leave it to cool, then cut it into three pieces, which are lightly drizzled with rum (not necessary), covered with cream and stacked one on top of another. Spread the remaining cream over the entire surface and sprinkle with ground or chopped nuts.
