Coffee cake recipe using Tastefully Simple caramel frappe mix

Ingredients:

1 package Tastefully Simple Caramel Frappe mix
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour an 8-inch cake pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, cream butter and eggs with an electric mixer. Add in the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Stir in 1/2 cup of the caramel frappe mix. Pour batter into the prepared cake pan.
4. Bake for 28-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Drizzle with remaining caramel frappe mix and serve.

This coffee cake is perfect for breakfast, brunch or a snack. It’s also a great dessert to take to a potluck or picnic.

Tips:

For a little extra flavor, stir in 1/2 cup of chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter before baking
