Exquisite cuts with salk filling suitable for festive occasions:))

1.

Cake: In a bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt to a thick froth, beat in the sugar, egg yolks, water, a spoonful at a time, and gently stir in the sifted flour with baking powder and cocoa. Bake on a deep baking tray, on baking paper. Size 30x40cm. Temperature 180°C for 20 minutes. Let cool.

2.

Filling: beat the room temperature butter until foamy, add the salsa in batches at approximately the same temperature, combine to a smooth cream and stir in the ground nuts. Divide the filling into three parts.

3.

Remove the paper and skin that formed during baking from the cooled sponge cake and cut lengthwise into three strips. Place as follows: biscuit, spread with jam, one third of the filling, attach the second part, spread with jam and filling. Fold in the third strip of sponge cake, press gently. Spread the remaining filling over the surface and sides of the slices. Pour the melted chocolate icing over the surface and refrigerate for a few hours.

4.

Cut into slices with a hot knife to prevent the frosting from breaking. The slices are delicious!
