Clarissa Marlenka
ingredients
400 g plain flour 250 g butter 300 g powdered sugar 3 pk eggs 3 tbsp honey 1 tsp baking soda a little milk 1 pk Salko walnuts for decoration
step
For any occasion, even my kids love it. Very easy homemade recipe and very tasty. Best with coffee or tea.
1.
Melt the butter. Put flour, eggs, powdered sugar, honey, baking soda and melted butter in a bowl. Add milk as needed (the batter should be the consistency of pancake batter). Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
2.
Place baking paper on a baking sheet and spread the dough (1st part) to the edges. Bake at 180°C for about 8 minutes (you need to be near the oven, time goes fast). Bake until golden brown, the edges must be brown by now. Leave the pastry on the baking sheet to cool. The dough is very thin, so it could break very easily. Trim the edges and crush the scraps (we will need them for decorating).
3.
Prepare the filling by mixing together the softened butter and salco. Divide the filling into three parts. I don’t cook the salko because it doesn’t stand out as well when caramelized, and uncooked it tastes better in Marlenka.
4.
Spread the filling progressively on the already baked and cooled pastry sheets. However, you must leave a little filling to spread around the edges.
5.
To decorate, chop the walnuts with a knife. Some people are able to use a carambit as well, but everyone cuts better with something different. Spread the rest of the batter that you’ve crushed all over the Marlena. Top with chopped nuts
6.
Let the cooked Marlenka stand outside the fridge for a while to let the filling soak into the dough. Eat the Marlenka the next day. And then just wish you a good taste.
