I got this recipe from my mom, but that supposedly it’s an old recipe. We mostly made them with fresh cracklings when we made homemade slaughter with fresh ones. It’s a fine recipe because it’s a durable pastry.

Knead all the ingredients in a bowl.

Press and form horseshoes on the grinder and place on a baking sheet and bake. 200°C-20 minutes.

After baking, glaze the cookies or dip the ends in chocolate icing.
