Just when I feel like sweetening my life. My mom baked it and it’s a childhood memory.

Clean your apples fluffy and season with sugar and cinnamon. Leave to stand.for the batter use 40dkg plain flour with baking powder mix, add softened cream of tartar and 70dkg sugar. Make the dough.

Divide this into two halves on a baking tray lined with baking paper roll out the first half of the dough, spread the apples on top and cover with the other half of the dough.

I make the second half into a lattice so that’s how I like it. Roll out the dough and cut out thin slices to form the grids.

Bake at 200 degrees until no longer pink, about 30-45mins.
