Cibulačka
Soup of onions, white wine and other ingredients, served with toasted baguette and grated cheese.
Ingredients:

td>vegetable broth
Procedure:
1. Cut peeled onions into rounds, larger onions into half-rounds
2. In a wider pot, sauté the chopped onions in heated butter and oil, add sugar after 15 minutes and sauté until the sugar caramelizes
3. Then pour the white wine over the fried onions, bring to the boil, add the hot broth, season with salt and ground pepper and cook slowly for another 20 minutes
4. Cut the baguette into slices, sprinkle with grated cheese, grill under the grill to melt the cheese and serve with the soup.
