Christmas lentil soup

ingredients

1 packet lentils 3 pcs large potato 4 pcs bay leaf 4 tbsp vinegar pcs oil pcs salt pcs black ground pepper 3 tbsp plain flour pcs milk pcs smoked meat bones, or smoked pork tail 1 crucible whipped cream 30%

Recipe is for a 6 quart pot

Soak the lentils in water the day before and put in the fridge, even if you forget to soak, no big deal, soak in the morning and you can cook before lunch

Please drain the swollen lentils, rinse them and put them in a pot. Cover with water, add bay, salt, pepper and vinegar. Bring to a boil and add the bones.

Let it cook until the lentils are done.

Add finely chopped peeled potatoes, boil them, remove the meat from the soup and make a roux of flour and oil in a small saucepan, dilute with milk and thicken the soup.

Finally soften with cream and let it boil.

Either chop the bones into smaller ones, or peel the meat from them.. who likes. GOOD TASTE!
