Christmas cabbage soup

1,5 kg sauerkraut 1 pk Christmas sausage 500 g smoked pork 2 handfuls dried mushrooms 2 crucibles sour cream to taste salt, flour

Christmas cabbage soup from our Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve table. We serve it with Christmas casserole, a long-standing habit from my mother-in-law.

We put the smoked meat and sausage to cook in a pot.

When they are cooked take them out, add sauerkraut to the broth (I never overcook). Throw in the dried mushrooms, cook until the cabbage is tender.

Mix sour cream with plain flour, finally add to soup and let it go through the boil.
4.
It is best on the third day 🙂 serve with Christmas cake.
