Christmas Black Sauce (Lenora)

Thick, black sauce with a very specific taste, suitable for fish or Christmas.

Ingredients:

200 g of grated root Vegetable Recipes (carrots, celery, parsley) 100 g of honey 50 g of plum preserves 50 g of/td>

grated onion 50 g peppercorns 50 g butter 5 pcs spice 1 pcs bay leaf 1/4 l of 12° black beer or Malaga wine 2 tbsp crystal sugar for caramel 1 handful raisins, shelled almonds and walnuts sprig of thyme ground pepper juice of 1 lemon salt

Procedure:

1. Grated or finely chopped onions and other Vegetable Recipes dry fry
2. Add beer or wine, lemon juice, honey, spices and simmer the sauce for 20 minutes
3. Shake the sauce through a sieve, dilute with water, thicken with grated gingerbread, colour with caramel, season with chopped almonds, raisins and nuts, butter
4. Simmer for 15 minutes more.
