150 g powdered sugar 300 g coarse flour 150 g butter 3 tbsp cocoa 1 pk medium egg 1 packet vanilla sugar 1 cup apricot jam 1 packet lentils

1 pk egg white 100 g powdered sugar 1 tbsp boiling water

I’ve been making this recipe for my kids since they were little. Even now that the girls are big, they ask for it out of nostalgia.

Beat the butter with the egg and powdered sugar until foamy. Add vanilla sugar, cocoa, flour and make a stiff dough. If it is too stiff you can add half a tablespoon of milk, but you do not have to.

Let stand in the refrigerator.

Roll out a thin layer and cut out rounds. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, bake at 180 degrees.

Join the cooled rounds with the apricot jam and top with the icing which has been whipped with egg whites, sugar and hot water.

Decorate with lentils.
